Pastor Terry Russell and Family

Terry Michael Russell and Linda Flynn both grew up in Blount County and met at Everett High School. They were married in 1971.  Terry graduated from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in 1972.  As a back-up placekicker, Terry was a member of the UT football team from 1970-72.  They have three children, Amy Russell Kastendick and Kevin M. Russell both of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Brent M. Russell of Maryville, TN.  Amy and husband, Brad, have two sons Alex and Jackson.  Kevin and wife, Kristi, have a son, Logan and a daughter, Ava.  Brent Russell is currently a student at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.  After many years in the business world, Terry was called to pastoral ministry in 2002.  After pastoring James Fork Baptist Church in Mansfield, Arkansas for approximately two years, Grandview Baptist Church called Terry Russell to be their senior pastor in September, 2005.  Thirty plus years as a Sunday School teacher, twenty-five years as a Baptist deacon, and many years as a business  manager/owner have helped prepare Terry to shepherd God’s flock.  He has continued to pursue religious education through online and distance learning programs with Luther Rice Seminary and Newburgh Theological Seminary.

We are so glad to have Pastor Terry Russell and his family at Grandview Baptist Church.
