Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes Offering – Church Goal $2000
Tennessee Baptist Adult Homes Offering – Church Goal $1200
Since we missed being together in church for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, we have missed giving to the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes Mother’s Day offering and the Tennessee Baptist Adult Homes Father’s Day Offering as we do each year. We will be collecting for these every important offerings now through August 24th. Just mail in or drop off your offerings. Please post the designated amount and name of each offering should be included with each gift.
Lost Sheep Ministry
Grandview helps with The Lost Sheep Ministry to feed the homeless in Knoxville. Each 2nd, 4th and 5th Wednesday evenings. Be prepared to leave the church at 6:00 P.M. The church van is used to transport as many as possible. Anyone who would like to participate in this wonderful ministry is encouraged to attend. You will be blessed!
Samaritans Purse Ministry
Church, now is the time to stock up on small stuffed animals, washcloths, soap, toothbrushes, toothbrush covers and pinky-bouncy balls. Don’t forget to look for clearance items that would make a great WOW gift!
Our 2019 Samaritan Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box total was 490! The gift filled shoe boxes after leaving GBC began their journey to children all over the world. The best part is that God already has a child chosen and prepared to receive the box that was packed for them!!! Thank you to each person that gave throughout the year, packed boxes at our annual packing party as well as prepared their own boxes to share with children.
Start collecting for the Samaritans Purse Shoe Box Ministry all year around! A room has been set aside especially for your donations to this worthy ministry. Then, in November we will have our annual OCC Packing Party and fill the stage with our shoe box gifts and have a time of dedication as we prepare to send them around the world.
Remember, every shoe box offers an opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. For additional information please contact Margaret Loveday.
